Ellsworth training testing readiness

RAPID CITY, S.D. - Tents, sandbag bunkers and Humvees have been dotting the landscape of Ellsworth Air Force Base this week as part of a training exercise.
Officials at the base say they've been getting ready for a big inspection in October that will test a full range of combat capabilities.
38th Bomb Wing Commander Jeff Taliaferro says men and woman in full gear are simulating that they have deployed to some other place.
The service members are working to keep their skills sharp, whether it's participating in a buddy exercise or practicing first aid.
