SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The 8th Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday upheld the child abuse and assault conviction of a Faith man.
Frank Iron Hawk was found guilty in 2009 of child abuse and assault resulting in serious bodily injury of a child. He was sentenced to 14 years and nine months in prison.
Iron Hawk appealed, contending that there was not enough evidence to convict him.
According to court documents, the abuse happened in 2006, near Red Scaffold and involved a 2-year-old.
