Cross Country – Douglas, Hot Springs capture team titles at Dave Scott Southern Hills Invite

HOT SPRINGS, S.D. – Douglas won the boys team title and Hot Springs won the girls title of the Dave Scott Southern Hills Invitational Cross Country meet Tuesday.

Winning the boys race was Peyton Cast of Douglas in a time of 18:11.49. Avery Chick of Newcastle came in second and Miles Mitchell of Douglas was third.

Winning the girls race was Kira Ubence of Douglas, finishing in a time of 20:13.69.

Hallie Person of Lead-Deadwood came in second and Alexis Strolicker of Douglas placed third.
