Sasquatch fall to the Badlands Big Sticks

SPEARFISH, S.D. — Tuesday evening the Sasquatch fell to the Badland Bigsticks by a score of, 8-3.

The night was a bit rough for Sasquatch Nation as the Badland Bigsticks were off to a fast start with a single RBI single coming from Angel De La Cruz to put the Bigsticks on top, 1-0. The Bigsticks added on two more runs in the third inning bringing the lead 3-0. The Sasquatch responded bringing in two runs of their own, coming from a sacrifice fly from Theo Hardy and an error by the Bigsticks.

It was Riley Moran who would get the start pitching for the Sasquatch, pitching in sixth innings, and finishing withing with four strikeouts. Badland Bigsticks went on to add runs in the seventh and ninth inning, while the Sasquatch would only add one more run in the fifth inning.

Spearfish had no problem getting their bats on the ball ending with six hits total on the night, Johnny McHenry going 1-2, with an RBI. Cade Stuff would assist the offense as well going 2-4, with an RBI and a game-tying home run.

The Sasquatch will have Wednesday off, but they will be back in action Thursday, June 22, to take on the Badland Bigsticks at 6:30 p.m. inside Black Hill Energy Stadium.
