Spearfish Survives, Downs Scoopers in Five Sets

STURGIS, S.D. — The Spearfish Spartans won the first two sets, 25-15, 25-23, but the Sturgis Scoopers roared back to take sets three and four, 25-17, 25-22, forcing a deciding fifth set. The Spartans took advantage of some Scooper errors to win set five, 15-11, to win the match three sets to two.
