Tea Area wins Class B State Baseball Championship

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Tea Area Titans won their first ever Class B state championship Tuesday with a 13-2 win over Bon Homme/Avon.

Tea quickly scored six runs before Bon Homme would scored a run in the second and third inning to make it a 6-2 game after three.

The Titans, though, would pour on the runs in the fifth inning as they posted a five spot, opening a strong 11-2 lead.

The Titans would go on to win, adding two more runs late to make it 13-2.

Logan Boom helped lead Tea Area by going 2 for 5 with two singles and four R.B.I.
